Spotify Advertising Cost

People are so into Social Media these days. That is why many brands are leveraging this trend. They set up advertisement campaigns on Social Media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and others so they can reach out to their target audience. But another trend is also booming these days, the online streaming platforms, like Spotify.

Spotify is a wildly popular music streaming service with a mobile application and a desktop version. They have approximately 286 million monthly active users. While many users opt to pay for an ad-free Spotify streaming service, still a majority of the users stick with the free version of the app since the basic functions of Spotify are free and they can still listen to millions of songs and podcasts to their liking. The only difference is that they will be served by a few ads from time to time.

This is where advertisers from different brands set up their ad campaigns.

So how do Spotify advertising cost? Spotify ads is a self-serve advertising platform where prices vary depending on the demand for the slot and the length of the ads. Before, only big brands could afford the advertising cost in Spotify because the minimum price for an ad campaign was 250,000 USD. But with Spotify’s self-serve advertising platform the minimum amount that you can spend per ad campaign is 250 USD. Every ad will vary in price each time, depending on the competition for your audience. However, you’re likely to pay $0.015-$0.025 per ad served. That sounds way cheaper than the Spotify advertising cost before.

Since more and more brands are always trying to make their presence felt in every digital platform to reach their targeted audience, Spotify advertising should also be noted since not everybody is putting their ads there. Also, Spotify ads cannot be skipped unlike the ads from other Social Media platforms that is why users can listen to the whole content of the ad. And that’s a big advantage.

I don’t know if Spotify Advertising would be worth it since you can just hear the ads just like on radios. Many people now are attracted to visuals, like ads on Facebook, Instagram, or Youtube  :woman_shrugging:t2:

That’s a bit true. But since many users do stream Spotify for free, it’s still a great opportunity for advertisers to place their ads there :star_struck: :100:

Since there’s no option to skip ads at Spotify, I think that’s a great thing since brands can really showcase the whole content of their whole advertisement :+1:t2: :+1:t2:
